Hear “Lights, camera, action!!” as you recreate a piece of history with your team’s own short movie.

Your group will be broken down into sub-teams and be assigned rolls to produce, direct and star in a unique version of a well known historical event.  Teams will be given costumes, props and a video camera to film a (sometimes hilarious) parody of one of our Nation’s most memorable moments.  After filming is complete, everyone will view and judge the creative efforts of each team and a “Best Picture” will be awarded to the winner.

Our facilitators will help with the technical aspects of the program as well as monitor the group dynamics while the filming unfolds.  As part of the process we can incorporate critical elements of your organization’s values or goals and integrate them into the production.  This program is spot on for organizations attempting to visualize themselves in the future.

You and your team will brew your very own beer using state-of-the-art equipment in one of our local micro-breweries.  Brewing your own beer is a fun, interesting and distinctive process.  We provide you with everything you need – quality ingredients, professional brew master instruction and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. 

You can approach this program as one large group or break down into smaller groups for an internal “brew off”.  While brewing the beer (or soda), your teams will also design their own personalized labels.  Your custom labeled beer will serve as a great conversation piece, thank-you gift to a client, and most importantly, a wonderful reminder of your teambuilding event.

You’re probably wondering how you brew the beer so fast to allow it to take place during a team building session.  This Specialty Program is unique in that we normally have two sessions six weeks apart while the fermentation process takes place.  In the event that you cannot return for the second session, we will be happy to carry the beer back to you for a follow-up team building session or ship the beer in crushproof packaging.

It’s time to get out of the office and have some real fun while maneuvering around our Nation’s capital.  Your Capital Scavenger Hunt will take you to many of our most famous monuments, memorials, parks and museums…and a few that are not so well known! 

Experience a great way to see the sights while bonding with your teammates.  Whether you’re a new visitor to the District or live around the beltway, you will discover many interesting facts about our capital and will go home with a pocket full of trivia that will stump even your brightest friends.  Your teams will be given an orientation, a map, a list of questions along with some intriguing clues – then it’s up to your leaders to decide how to make the most of their time. 

Our facilitators will be right by your side to help keep you on track and then provide feedback at the end of the session.  While the event is timed, this is not a race – planning, problem solving and teamwork are the true keys to success.

For those looking to get back to nature on an extraordinary adventure, take a kayak or canoe down the beautiful and legendary Shenandoah River.  Your teams will view pristine surroundings while facing challenges made unique by their environmental conditions. 

Prior to your departure you will be given safety instructions, a thorough river orientation, issued a detailed map and a set of tasks to accomplish before docking at the pick-up point.  Then it’s out onto the river.  The Shenandoah is one of the rare North American rivers that flows north as it drains into several lateral valleys in the Appalachians on the west side of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

“Let the Games begin!”   This program takes place at the site of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics Games – beautiful and tranquil Lake Placid, New York.  Surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains, experience your very own Olympic victory while gaining valuable insights about your team and simultaneously bringing them closer together.    

“Gold Medal Games” is an á la carte program that we incorporate into your company business meetings with scheduling, venue access, coaching, equipment, video-taping, printed results and awards ceremonies with medals.  The combinations are limitless…activities include bobsledding, biathlon, ice hockey, curling, skating/speed skating and luge (all available both summer and winter), as well as alpine and cross country skiing (available winter only).
